Some of my typewriters on my messy writing desk. From left to right there is a Continental standard manual office machine from 1941, a Groma portable also from 1941, and a Seidel & Naumann "Erika" from 1935. The Erika is on top of another Erika in its travel case, from 1943. I have some more pictures of a couple of these machines here.

I'm working on cleaning and restoring a 1935 German typewriter, it still works and I intend to use it. It is a work in progress, I have posted some pictures of the ongoing restoration here.

I have been working on reproducing wartime German documents since 2000 but recently have put a renewed focus into finding period-type accessories for doing this work. Everything in this photo has been acquired in the last two months, it is all real German material and much of it is original pre-1945 manufacture including two staplers, boxes of staples, hole punches, a Bakelite holder for pens, pencil boxes and more. Not pictured is a mound of period-type paper and envelopes.
